DC Committee has begun the planning for the 2008 - DC IPNBT. 

This years tournament will be in the Memory of Dr. Basharat A. Jamil and Salman A. Jamil. 

The tournament will take place on April 11th-13th weekend.

For those of you that run local tournaments or leagues that are looking for a way to track stats or schedule games, you can try a free website at www.teamopolis.com.

It is free to sign up and I've test driven it for our local baseball league. It will allow you to create teams, schedule games, keep individual stats, and post news. There are some additional features but I was thinking this would be ideal for the Chicago league, Dallas league, IP Football etc. 

 They have templates for almost any sport - football, basketball, baseball, softball, cricket.

 Also, if you want to create a site for your individual team, this is a free way to get one set up quickly and easily.

 Anyway, I tried it out and found it very feature rich...and FREE so I thought I would pass that information along for anyone that needs a tool to help run a local league or set up a team website without the hassle of setting up a domain or building a website from scratch.
